WHAT IS THE RIGHT AGE TO BE A PERSONAL TRAINER? (PART 1)

ARE YOU TOO YOUNG TO STUDY TO BE A PERSONAL TRAINER?

We love this picture above. It was the end of an absolutely fantastic 'in person' session with our Victoria College students in Jersey. These students have been amazing and completely blown us away with their enthusiasm, professionalism work ethic and their capacity to learn.

There may be some scepticism that while a student is at school that it is not the right time in their maturity to begin the introduction to Personal Training. However from our experience the quality of work from our college students has been outstanding - and we can confirm the following:

KNOWLEDGE: These students now have the confidence and knowledge the course brings around basic anatomy, physiology, fitness and wellbeing. Whether they use it professionally or simply for their own health and wellbeing - it is a fantastic skill to have in their toolkit

CONFIDENCE: The students will never feel nervous entering a gym for their own personal use as they are fully competent in how to use equipment safely - this will support their own health and wellbeing

CAREER OPTIONS: The students now have options, if they want to they can continue into the Level 3 diploma and be qualified as a Personal Trainer, they are already on the journey of qualification

COMMUNICATION: The students will have been put through paces in the art of communication and this is a life skill that is transferable in so many ways.

So if you are worried you are too young (we will cover too old in Part 2!) please drop us a line and we can have a chat.

If you are a school who may be interested we would love to talk to you more
